Our Origins
PCS began as a community of families drawn to the same glorious vision that has captured similar groups across the nation: to bless our children with an excellent education “grounded in the good things, the great things, and the true things.”
It has been exhausting but exhilarating to see an inspired idea become a thriving reality. The burgeoning classical school movement reminds us that God’s grace toward the great western civilizations and early America always shines brightest not in government bureaucracies or even religious institutions, but in families and communities thrilled by the Gospel and its implications.
Providence Now
Providence Classical School is both a primary and a secondary school, based on Classical Christian Education principles, in the northwest Houston area. The school includes pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. Our facilities are located on the grounds of Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church at 6006 Spring Cypress Road in Spring, TX. The school began in the Fall of 2000 with 15 full-time and 5 part-time students. We currently have enrolled over 250 full-time students and several part-time students. Providence Classical School has now graduated senior classes every year since May of 2004. Our graduates have been accepted into many fine universities such as Texas A&M, Biola, Covenant, the Air Force Academy, St. Thomas, Sam Houston, and University of Dallas

Providence is a fully accredited member of the Association of Classical Christian Schools.

| We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God, completely inerrant in the original writings. |
| We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. |

| We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and his personal return in power and glory. |
| We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. |
| We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. |
