Dear Prospective Providence Parents,

Thank you for considering Providence Classical School as you endeavor to train up your child. It would be a privilege to come alongside your family in this important calling. I recognize that your search for a school is difficult so I commend you for your commitment as you seek God’s guidance in this process.

Providence Classical School was founded in 2000 by a group of families who were committed to training disciples who will effectively impact our culture for Christ. Since our founding, Providence has grown from a handful of families to now over 140. I believe that this growth is a response to the spiritual/educational void in our culture caused by our separation of faith from learning. At Providence we seek to fill that void with an education that is centered on Christ and based on a model that fosters excellence. Our board, faculty, administration, and existing families are committed to developing and maintaining a community in which academic excellence is encouraged and Christian unity is supported. Your family’s participation in the educational process is vitally important for the success of our school in meeting the challenges that face our culture.

I have been encouraged to witness the life-changing effect a Providence education has on our students. If you are looking for a school that recognizes the centrality of Christ in all pursuits and you want a community that works together in the development of the whole child, then I encourage you to begin your study of classical Christian
education through our web site and the associated links. After reading our materials, if you wish you could go back to school with your child, then Providence is very likely the school for you.

Sincerely,

Troy Wathen, Headmaster
