CAPITAL CAMPAIGN UPDATE

 After years of discussion, research and prayer, the Providence Classical School Board and Administration decided that it has become necessary to pursue a Capital Campaign with the goal of purchasing land and constructing a custom-designed campus to call "home" for our PCS family.  

In light of the current facility constraints and the demand for classical and Christian education in our area, the Board identified 19.4 acres in the Gleannloch Farms subdivision as an ideal place for our permanent home. This beautiful wooded location, strategically located on the feeder road of the proposed Grand Parkway, borders a thirteen acre lake. 

In spring 2011, Providence contracted with AndrisinAbbey to perform a feasibility study.  In a parallel effort, our Office of Advancement, headed by Susan Summers, and our Capital Campaign Committee, chaired by Clint Johnson, spearheaded a phenomenal effort, raising $1,200,000 to purchase the land.  Due to the fulfillment of pledges and some very generous unexpected gifts, our goal now is to raise an additional $323,000 to completely pay off the remaining loan on the land, and then begin the process of building a campus where generations of students will be trained to impact their culture for Christ.
