We appreciate your interest in employment opportunities at Providence Classical School. Positions for the 2011-2012 school year are currently full.
Our goal at Providence Classical School is to help every student reach his or her academic potential through quality, Christ-centered and classical education.
At Providence, we believe that humanity is created in the image of God. Therefore, we are to reflect the character of God in our lives and reveal that character through doing His will. Providence Classical School is committed to educating the whole person -spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and physically. Through the teaching, mentoring, and nurturing of each student, Providence Classical School is dedicated to encouraging a lifestyle that reflects and reveals God’s character.
For many, classical education evokes a range of different thoughts. In order to understand what we intend by classical education, we encourage you to read Recovering the Lost Tools of Learning and Repairing the Ruins, by Douglas Wilson and Classical Education, by Gene Edward Veith, Jr. and Andrew Kern. To better understand our philosophy regarding discipline and training, applicants to the Grammar School (K-6) positions are also expected to read Shepherding a Child’s Heart, by Tedd Tripp. Upper School applicants are expected to read The Age of Opportunity, by Paul David Tripp.
