Announcement:

We are excited to announce that Providence Classical School has established a National Honor Society (NHS) chapter!  NHS is an organization recognized nationally for academic excellence and commitment to service.  More information about NHS is available at http://www.nhs.us/ .

Providence's NHS is an organization which recognizes academic achievement, promotes the development of Godly character, and serves the community. Juniors and seniors are eligible to submit an application.  Requirements for membership are as follows:  GPA of 3.5 or higher, willingness to serve the community, and demonstration of Christ-like character. Interested students should submit the attached application form to Ms. Watson by Monday, January 17, 2011.  Applications will also be available in Ms. Watson's classroom.  The applications will be reviewed by the NHS officers and faculty council.  Selected students will be notified on or before Tuesday, January 25, 2011.  The induction ceremony will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 28th at 7:00 PM.
