A Classical Education That Grows With Your Child

Providence Classical School follows a time-tested approach to learning that aligns with how children naturally grow and mature. Classical education is built around three stages of development: Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric.

  • In the Grammar Stage, students delight in learning. They absorb foundational knowledge through language, stories, repetition, and hands-on experiences.
  • In the Logic Stage, students begin asking deeper questions and connecting ideas. Discussion and analysis become central to learning.
  • In the Rhetoric Stage, students learn to express what they know with clarity and confidence. Through writing, discussion, and presentation, they develop the ability to communicate truth wisely and winsomely.
Together, these stages form a cohesive journey that prepares students for lifelong learning and faithful leadership.

When you’re choosing a school, strong academics are just the beginning. You’re also looking for a place where your child will:

  • Grow in wisdom, virtue, and faith
  • Be free of screens and guided by teachers who know and care for them
  • Learn to think deeply and to connect ideas across subjects so they are prepared for college, career, and God’s calling

These are lofty, worthy objectives. There’s too much at stake to just hope the school you choose can deliver. So, how can you know what to expect?

At Providence Classical School, we offer a rich classical curriculum and an educational approach called The Six Loves. These time-tested models provide a clear overview of how young scholars grow in every way as they move through the PCS experience.

Partners in Providence

The goal for our children is to love learning, but also that they would go out and impact the culture for Christ.

Charlton Wimberly

One of the main reasons I chose Providence is not only the classical education model or that it’s a Christian school, but how you feel when you walk through the doors.

Adrienne Joseph

We love this school! The teachers are so caring and involved! The classical model is the perfect alternative to the public school system.
