PCS School Awards 2022-2023
Dear PCS family,
It is hard to believe that we are closing the doors on the 2022-2023 School Year. It is a joy to be part of a school that is committed to sharing God’s truth and classical Christian education with the next generation, thus training our students to impact their culture for Christ. This year has been filled with a range of emotions. We have certainly had more moments of trials and mourning than I have ever experienced in one year, but we have also experienced great times of celebration and joy.
In our moments of trials and mourning, we have learned to trust God in new ways and have been reminded to reflect on the brevity of life (Ecclesiastes 7:1-2) and the hope we have in the resurrection (1 Corinthians 15). Ultimately, we can celebrate the life and eternal life of loved ones because of the victory we have in Christ. In our moments of joy, we have taken the time to recognize that life is to be enjoyed. It is a gift from God (Ecclesiastes 8:15).
Organizationally, we are thankful for continued growth. Visually, it has been exciting to see the construction work progressing. We will soon have a stage, enhanced audio in the gym, more classrooms, locker rooms, and a weight room. The library furniture has been installed and we look forward to celebrating with an official opening in the fall. Just this past weekend, I received the final report from the Association of Classical Christian Schools accreditation team awarding our five-year accreditation renewal.
We had a year full of successes in academics, athletics, and fine arts. (Check out this year’s Paladin Proud newsletters for some examples! November 2022, March 2023, May 2023). The Yearbook team also provided another outstanding publication, reminding us of so many of this year’s events. This year, the Yearbook class added a new twist. Each QR code throughout the yearbook links to a video highlight from student life activities, special programs, opportunities to serve, House games, athletics, academics, and fine arts. We are grateful for a good and godly year.
Accomplishing the PCS vision takes our entire community from faculty, staff, and coaches to students, parents, and grandparents, to volunteers and all who care for our facilities.
It is our joy and privilege to partner with you, our school families, in the education and formation of your children as the world continues to present new challenges in the training of the next generation.
As we enter the summer months, we have a chance to slow down a bit. Let’s take the time to rest and to enjoy life with our loved ones (Ecclesiastes 9:7-10, 11:9-10).
Semper excelsior ad gloriam Dei

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ — to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11
