End-of-Year Letter 2024-2025
Dear Providence Classical School Community,
As the 2024-2025 academic year draws to a close, I want to take a moment to reflect with gratitude on all that God has done in and through the Providence community this year. From the first day of school to the final moments of this year, we have witnessed His faithfulness in countless ways.
This year, our students have grown not only in knowledge and skill, but also in wisdom and virtue. In classrooms filled with discussion, creativity, and challenge, they have engaged deeply with the True, the Good, and the Beautiful. Our teachers have poured themselves into the calling of classical Christian education, faithfully cultivating hearts and minds for Christ. I am thankful for all those who have contributed to the spiritual growth of our community.
We also celebrate the many milestones we’ve shared: the joy of House competitions, the beauty of student performances, the dedication shown in athletic, academic, and fine art competitions, and the excitement of field trips, debates, and academic achievements. With our 4 State championships, 5 District championships, 2 Area championships, and 5 Regional championships, and our growing participation in the TAPPS Fine Arts and Academic competitions, we were runners-up to the TAPPS 3A Henderson Cup. (Check out this year’s Paladin Proud newsletters for some examples! December 2024, March 2025, and May 2025.) Our Drama Department performed a wonderful rendition of The Miracle Worker. The Yearbook team provided another outstanding publication, reminding us of so many of this year’s events while also taking us on a trip back in time. I pray that looking back through the yearbook and our Paladin Proud newsletters will cause us to reflect and be thankful.
Last Saturday, we celebrated Commencement for our graduating seniors. We give thanks for their leadership and pray that they go forward with courage and conviction as they carry the mission of Providence into the next season of their lives.
To our parents, your partnership is invaluable. Your commitment to the mission of Providence, through your prayers, service, and support, has been a vital part of this year’s success. To our faculty and staff, thank you for your tireless devotion to your students and to one another. And to our students, you are a joy to lead. Watching you grow in grace and maturity is one of the greatest privileges of this role.
As we enter the summer months, I pray that each of you will find rest, renewal, and time with your family. We look forward to seeing many of you at our Summer Exploration Camps, athletic workouts, and academic bootcamps as well as our summer socials like Popsicles on the Playground and Bingo. May this be a season of reflection and preparation as we look ahead with hope and expectation to what God will continue to do at Providence Classical School. In a little over 3 months, we will celebrate the use of new science labs, welcome a third section of Kindergarten, experience our highest enrollment in PCS history, and celebrate our 25th anniversary!
